Chickens and Pigs and Bears... Oh My!
 
“Chickens and Pigs and Bears...Oh My!” is a celebration of some of our favorite stories in new and creative ways. 
Audiences will delight in the different styles of puppetry, live music, poetry and
audience participation used to perform these familiar tales.
Puppeteer Peter Allen performs THE THREE LITTLE PIGS with marionettes, THE LITTLE RED HEN with
shadow puppets and THE THREE BEARS (a version that doesn’t include Goldilocks) with rod and finger puppets.

Show length: 35-40 minutes*
Maximum audience size: 250
  Suitable for family groups and
children ages 3 and up

*If you would like a longer program, we would be happy to add a 15-minute
“Show and Tell” and/or
“How we make a Puppet” at the end of
the puppet show. There is no extra fee for this addition to the program.
Please let us know in advance if you would like this option.
One Little Pig
   
We built this show for the 2009 Library Summer Reading Program.
We enjoy it so much that we will continue to offer it to our audiences.
We thought you might like to see how we build our puppets (creatively, of course).

We are always experimenting with new materials. For this show,
 the heads for our puppets are created out of plastic bowling pins.

These are the unpainted paper mache heads for
the marionettes that will be used in the story of
 THE THREE LITTLE PIGS.

Now the hands and "piggy tails" of THE THREE LITTLE PIGS
have been sewn and painted. 		mama pig needs a wig

MAMA PIG is painted. Now this pig needs a wig! I wonder what kind
of hair she's going to get.
